About us
We are a vibrant well-equipped, busy mixed (majority small animal) clinic in the beautiful town of Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland Australia. We have a cohesive team that work incredibly well together and a pleasant working environment. Everyone loves working here and several team members have returned after time working away.
Simply love working for Palmwoods Veterinary Clinic and have done so since 2016. It’s a great team and a supportive working environment. The owner/Principal Dr Brett Stone is always proactive with staff concerns and quick to resolve issues at any time within the team, with equipment or with clients. I really like how a strong emphasis is placed on client communication as well as communication within the team.

About this role
Full-time or part-time depending on your preference. General veterinary duties with a good mix of preventative medicine, general medicine and surgery. Realistic lifestyle and family focusing working hours 7.30/8 am to 5.30 pm four weekdays with one rostered weekday off and one half-day every second Saturday (everything by negotiation and mutual fit). We want to fit around your family as we are a family orientated clinic with many staff including the owner principal having small children. No after-hours or Sunday work.

About you
We are looking for a self-motivated clinician who wants to be part of a cohesive energetic team delivering outstanding and compassionate care to our wonderful clients and patients.
What you’ll bring:
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standards of care
- Passion for pets (naturally), with excellent animal handling skills
- Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia
- Exceptional organisational, communication and customer service skills
- Interest in, and commitment to, working in a team environment
